Gems Unlimited was founded in July of 1983 by Michael B. Kokeny, Graduate Gemologist. In the years prior Michael earned a bachelor of science degree at the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and subsequently a degree in Gemology from the Gemological Institute of America (Santa Monica, CA). Over the past seventeen years Gems Unlimited has matured into one of the most highly regarded and recognized custom jewelry centers in the region. Our friendships and associations we've developed with some of the world's foremost Gem dealers has been an integral part of our success. Our sources for the finest diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds has given us the resources and competitive edge necessary to bring the highest quality and best value to our customers. Although we maintain an extensive collection of hand crafted jewelry designed with the utmost care and attention to detail, the majority of the jewelry we create is designed exclusively for a particular client. These treasures are crafted in 14 karat, 18 karat, white or yellow gold, or platinum, fully expressing the owner's true passion for the stone. At Gems Unlimited we design and create heirloom jewelry.
